My name is Chris Idema.

I graduated from the college of Sint Lucas in Boxtel, the Netherlands in 2007 and am currently studying Architecture and Construction Engineering at Avans University. Architecture is my passion. I love creating art and finding out new ways to do so. As you can see on this portfolio website, I use many different mediums, from pen and paper, to photography and the computer.

I am currently searching for a work experience location with an arhitect outside of the Netherlands (intern portfolio). It is my hope that this will give me the opportunity to learn new ways of looking at art and architecture and to gain more knowledge in these areas.

During my previous course, I completed two six-month periods of work experience in Eindhoven (3d visualization) and Antwerp (architectural firm).

In my spare time I work for various companies creating 3d visualizations of building plans. This helps me to gain knowledge that could be of use to me in the future.
